The celebration featured 21 pieces of Irish music; several acts included Gaelic dancers in costume. Note at the bottom that "you are requested to ask for encores." A single sheet measuring 10 by 7 inches, folded to create a 4 pp leaflet. Printed in green on cream stock.

First edition - Program for a football game between the Sacramento Valley and the San Joaquin Valley played to benefit the Optimist Foundation for Handicapped Children, played at Hughes Stadium in Sacramento on August 14, 1971. Cincinnati, Ohio: J. Church & Co, 1866. First edition - A striking picture, originally the cover to a sheet music booklet containing the "Fire Fiend Galop." This is a dramatic and brightly colored lithograph of Cincinnati's burning opera house overwhelmed by the bright red and orange flames filling the sky. A crowd of onlookers watch as firefighters spray their hoses at the building, and visible through the flames is the title of the current production "A Midsummer's Night Dream." Small format, 14.5 cm x 11 cm (just over 5" x 4") with 48 unnumbered pages. Small black and white illustrations on almost every page (drawings and silhouettes.) Little slice of life stories: "The Drunkard" begins "Oh Ben! I am sorry to see him in the stocks there." Others are on flowers, water, "naughty Ada", etc. Although not dated, this does have a gift inscription on the front endpaper of 1886. Bound in paper covered boards with a color illustration inset on the front cover (with a picture of "Red Cap" at the beach.)

Quite aside from the interesting contents, this is an attractive and sturdy volume bound in 3/4 leather with dark blue cloth, marblized endpapers and edges of the text block. Pp. i-vii, 477-651.

Greyhound Lines, 1937. Schedule for the route between San Francisco and Los Angeles, dated May 29, 1937, folded to create 16 panels, measures just 4 inches by 2 1/4 inches folded. In a ticket holder envelope with a map of Greyhound routes on front cover, advertisement for the new "super-bus" on the rear.

Chicago & Kansas City: W. E. Black Company, (1908). First edition - Athough "fireless cook stove" sounds like a contradiction in terms, this early precursor to the crockpots (except that it used retained heat from boiling water, etc, instead of electricity) was one of the few early 20th century innovations that actually enabled women to get out of the kitchen and still serve a hot meal later. This booklet includes a 4 pp of general instructions, some pictures of the roaster and 20 pp of recipes plus 3 blank pages for memorandum. Measures just 6 3/4 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide, unpaginated.
