Connor has inherited both his mother's indefatigable optimism and the quiet courage of his father, a brakeman for the railroad. This story was apparently bound with varying other stories - this volume includes 'Miss West's Class Talks About Words,' 'How Jonathan Ran Away From School' and 'Surprised.'     Condition: Very good condition - some soiling to the covers and minor shelfwear, front hinge starting, but appealing, sturdy and still very easily readable.
