ABOUT US

This is our tenth year in business, primarily selling books by mail. We started selling books in the CompuServe Book Collecting forum in 1993, quite awhile before there was any commercial internet. In 1998 we relocated our main business from Sacramento to the Sierra foothills of Amador County, about 35 miles east of downtown Sacramento between Ione & Sutter Creek. We built a ‘bookhouse’ for our books on the 10 acre oak-covered hilltop.

We welcome visitors by appointment.

We also have a large booth dedicated to books (called Books Upstairs) at the Antiques Upstairs Mall, 5 Main Street, Jackson, CA. (open every day from 10-5) The emphasis there is on Western Americana, children’s books and inexpensive reading copies.

We have over 13,000 books listed online and 40,000 books not yet entered. Please let us know if there are any other books you are looking for.

TERMS

Shipping is $5.00 for the first Book and $2.00 for each additional. We use the best means possible for this cost, usually U.S. Priority Mail. Media Mail $3.50. Foreign, air and express shipping quoted on request. If buying for a California address, add the appropriate city or county sales tax. (7 - 8.25%).

Payment may be made by VISA, MASTERCARD, U.S. Dollar Check or money order: (Our bank requires card number, expiration date, exact name as shown on card, both shipping address & billing address for card if different)

Returns: We want our customers to be happy and guarantee all of our books to be as described. If for any reason you want to return a book, please contact us within 10 days of receipt of the book. Returned books must be in the same condition as we shipped to you.
