    Condition: Good in stiff boards with a full-color illustration pasted on the front cover (of a family looking at the rainbow -arco iris) Toning to pages, some wear to the corners and ends of the black cloth spine, but an uncommon and very interesting older book.

The writers who appealed to their age and not to posterity have by contrast a subtle charm" which certainly sums up Maugham's lesser known works. Both the English and US 1920s editions had some "offensive parts" removed from the original manuscript. 324 pp.

    Condition: Good overalll in blue cloth with gilt lettering on the front cover, and beveled edges - some rubbing and wear to the ends of the spine, the corners, and even the lower edges of the boards, front hinge cracking, and title page almost detached, but still holding. Despite the flaws this is an appealing vintage book in the uncommon blue binding.
