Includes a 5 pp preface which describes the making of this epic John Ford production starring George O'Brien and Madge Bellamy, as well as Chief Big Tree and Chief White Spear - a film which required two years of production on settings all over the old west, an year of preparation and 3,000 railway workers, 1,000 Chinese laborers 800 Pawnee, Sioux and Cheyenne Indians" Illustrated with a glossy frontispiece and 7 inserted plates. xii, 329 pp plus 7 pp of publisher's ads.

    Condition: Very good in tangerine cloth with green lettering (previous owner's name in pencil dated Christmas 1925)

    Condition: Near fine in sage green cloth with a lovely art nouveau decorative binding of a thistle flower and leaves in copper and white.
