It was designed to allow cooperatives to hold crop surpluses and market them in an orderly fashion. One of the first important acts of the farm board was setting up a $20 million grain sales corporation, headquartered in Chicago. This book sets forth problems facing agriculture and the scope of the Agricultural Marketing Act.
