The six children form a Riddle Club for the purpose of asking each other riddles during club meetings. In this book, summer has begun, and the Riddle Club leaves for a camping trip at Lake Bassing. The first 3 books were all issued simultaneously in 1924 (lists to #3 at front of book) 246 pp plus6 pp of publisher's ads. Lists to #3 in front of book, but to #5 in ads at back of book.
