On the way to the circus she notices a turtle in the street and stops to help him, so when she gets there it is too late - all the seats are gone. But as she is looking at the animals outside she notices that the lion's cage is not locked - and because of that, a disaster is averted - and she is rewarded with the best seat in the circus tent. Illustrated with color drawings by Ruth Ruhman, Pink llustrated endpapers. Small square format, unpaginated.
