She is looking forward to traveling with her school friends on tour of Colorado, the Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone Park, but her money is tight: her father's architectural firm has lost most of its recent contracts to a new rival firm. Her determination to find out how this company is able to copy Mr. Wilson's plans lands her in a dangerous situation. SIGNED by the author on the verso of the front endpaper with the words "Greetings from" Glossy frontispiece by E. C. Van Swearingen. Condition: Good only in light green cloth with dark blue lettering (severe toning to pages, as is common with wartime books, binding cracked between pp 88-89 but holding, Christmas 1944 notation on front pastedown) in a good dustjacket (price-clipped, some rubbing and wear, small losses at ends of spine and corners, but still quite attractive)
