New York: Galaxy, 1965-1966. First edition - A complete set of the true first appearance, serialized in five consecutive issues, of the last of Heinlein's Hugo winning novels, one which is widely considered as his best (These preceded the book publication later in 1966.) The story of the rebellion of a penal colony on the Moon against their masters on the earth in the year 2076, this is the book that gave us the phrase 'TANSTAAFL' (there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.) Nominated for the Nebula, winner of the Hugo award. Each issue is 162 pp, illustrated, and in addition to the Heinlein novel, they include contributions by writers such as Robert Bloch, Keith Laumer, Larry Niven, John Brunner and more.

Condition: Very good overall, with the usual toning to the pages. The December 1965 issue has a small chip in the upper corner of the front cover, and that of March 1966 has a light diagonal crease on the front cover - but all are straight copies, no creasing or tears to the spines, with attractive covers.
