Ralphson was one of the first scout masters in the rather short-lived American Boy Scouts (not to be confused with the Boy Scouts of America) founded by Randolph Hearst and differing from the BSA in its emphasis on preparing the young boys for military service. Remington Arms even created an official American Boy Scouts rifle. 232 pp. plus 2 chapters from "Woodcraft" (pp 123-139) plus 9 pp publisher's ads.
Condition: Fair condition only (usual toning to the pages - previous owner's name and "decoration" to rear endpapers, some soiling to the covers and some pages at back of the book, both hinges cracked) no dust jacket.
