Hardcover first edition - A very early novel by Le Guin, a coming of age story which is both a fantasy classic and a classic of young adult literature, illustrated with maps and drawings by Ruth Robbins. A later printing per Currey without the smudge on the title page and with a printed illustration on the front cove, plain rear cover. However, although Currey specifically states no linen hinges for these printings, this copy does have the white linen hinges used in the library binding on the first printing. 205 pp,
Condition: Near fine in light turquoise cloth (a bit of fraying to the front edges of the boards near the corners, but overall tight and clean) .
