It is a totally updated edition of a classic work originally published in 1992 by these two chefs who started in a tiny bakery at Point Reyes in Marin County, north of San Francisco, and selling their products at East Bay Farmers' Markets. This includes more than 50 new recipes, including their most requested recipe, the Morning Bun, and cheesecake. Favorites from the original book have been revamped to include whole-grain and/or gluten-free variations, as well as less sugar. Illustrated with 150 full color photographs by Andrea Gentl and Martin Hyers. More than just recipes, this is full of tips about baking, as well as a discussion of their philosophy behind the food.
