Condition: Good overall in the original publishers dark brown half calf, marble boards, raised bands, gilt titling on the spine, marbled endpapers. Some rubbing to the covers, toning to the pages, and some minor foxing, discoloration to the edges of some pages. The binding is sturdy and the book is easily readable. The second book, Gray's Pharmaceutical Quiz Compend (to use the short title on the cover), is in very good in dark green cloth binding with gilt lettering on front cover Previous owner's name on front pastedown, some rubbing to the covers and toning to the pages, but overall tight and sturdy.
