Hardcover - A boys series written under his own name by this prolific author best known for the numerous books he wrote under various house names for the Stratemayer Syndicate - including the Bomba series as Rockwood, the Ted Scott flying series as Dixon, and others as Victor Appleton, Allan Chapman and more. (his daughter, Elizabeth M. Duffield Ward, also wrote for the Stratemeyer syndicate including some of the Bobbsey Twins and Ruth Fielding books). Note this shows the original publisher - George Sully - on the the title page, but the copyright page shows Whitman. 220 pp.
Condition: Very good in illustrated blue cloth (gift inscription dated Christmas 1925, some toning to the page)
