He was also very active in the community - especially with the Boy Scouts. INSCRIBED by the author on the front endpaper "To some very wonderful people, wholesome and patient and thoughtful" (not personalized.) Fronstispiece. 327 pp. Very near fine in a good dustjacket (some chipping and edgewear to the dj.) .
